How to create your own personalised programme:

Use the programme app (when available) to create your own personalised programme. To create this add a session to your favourites list, so you have all the sessions you want to see in one easily accessible place.

Sessions available post-conference:

On the programme you will see that the sessions that will be recorded, have been labelled, making it easy to see which ones you can go back and view at a later time.

What can you expect from the different session formats?

Keynotes and Founders lecture

Listen to a high profile key-speaker within their field, sharing their expertise, advice and knowledge on a subject.

Focused symposia:

They are 90 minute sessions which include speakers, recognised as experts in their field, who will be exploring a topic through critical debate, drawing out the relevance to physiotherapists whatever their role in practice, policy or education.

Audience interaction is central, it’s a forum for exchange and exploration of ideas to shape future practice.

Spotlight sessions

Spotlight session highlight current ‘hot topics’ and may be held in a variety of formats, most are similar to the style of a focused symposia. They may look at policy, education and/or the latest research findings.

Abstracts sessions

These showcase work based projects, which are peer-reviewed by a panel of experts. Abstracts are then either presented as a short 5 min presentation (Rapid 5s) with a Q&A panel at the end, or longer 10min presentation followed by 5min Q&A with individual presenters (Platforms) or as a poster.

Posters are available to view at any time during the conference. If you go to the exhibition hall you will see the Poster access displays on the wall along the side of the exhibition hall. Just click on the display and you a poster viewing window will open up allowing you to look through, connect with authors and search for relevant content. Join us for our poster evening on Thursday 4th November at 4.30 – 6.30pm for early poster viewing.
